You can buy a ticket from Ukraine to Russia using the Russian Railways website. It is best to do this in advance, especially during the holiday season. A limited number of seats are allocated to Russian railways for trains traveling to our country. An alternative option is to ask your relatives or friends living in Ukraine to buy you a ticket. The task will be facilitated by the fact that when buying a train ticket there, including to Russia, the passports of passengers are not needed.
It is necessary
- When buying tickets on the Russian Railways website:
- - a computer;
- - access to the Internet;
- - bank card;
- - passport data.
- When buying a ticket with the help of third parties in Ukraine:
- - communication with the one who will buy the ticket in any convenient way;
- - services of money transfer systems or bank transfer (optional).
Instructions
Step 1
To buy a ticket on the Russian Railways website, go to its main page. If you have an account on the site, go to the "Passengers" section and log in using your username and password.
Step 2
Enter the Ukrainian station of departure in the search form and the Russian one - destination and date of departure. Click Search.
Step 3
Select a train, a car of the desired type, the number of passengers (up to four people) and children and adults among them.
Step 4
Enter the names and passport details of passengers.
Step 5
Pay for your purchase using a bank card.
Step 6
Go to any ticket office to get a paper ticket. To do this, record your order number, which you will see after confirmation of payment. You will have to present it and your passport to the cashier. Electronic registration to and from stations located in the CIS is not available.
Step 7
If there are no return tickets from Ukraine for the dates you need, or from there you are not heading to Russia, the only available way to buy a ticket is to help friends from acquaintances living in the country. Tell them the necessary parameters of the trip and agree on the calculations. You can transfer money to them from account to account or send them using any transfer system. You can also settle accounts with them when you arrive in Ukraine.
