The Black Sea coast is still one of the favorite vacation spots for Russians. Only now they can choose whether to go to the familiar Crimea or their native Krasnodar Territory, or go to Bulgaria, Romania, Turkey.

Russia and Ukraine - is it possible to relax on the Black Sea inexpensively

The Black Sea coast of Crimea and Krasnodar Territory abounds in resort places. There are both expensive hotels and quite budget rooms and houses. But most often the conditions in inexpensive apartments leave much to be desired. Not all rooms have showers and toilets, let alone a kitchenette. Most often, the amenities are common, which makes the rest not comfortable enough for the demanding tourist.

And the cost of living in these "inexpensive" rooms on the coast is often comparable to the price per room in an average three-star hotel in Bulgaria or Turkey. The cheapest housing on the Black Sea coast of Crimea and Russia is offered away from the beaches, in small villages or towns. But in this case, you will have to get to the sea by transport.

Resting on the Black Sea coast of Crimea or Russia is beneficial only to those who have relatives there. Rental and catering are the biggest budget items when choosing these resorts.

Turkey and Bulgaria - cheap accommodation options

Turkish and Bulgarian hotels offer different price levels. On average, the price in a good hotel on the coast, in a room with breakfast, starts from 25 euros per day. At the same time, the hotel has a swimming pool, the room will be cleaned, drinking water and toiletries will be brought. There are also cheaper hotels, where a room costs from 15 euros per day. But they are located far from the sea, and are not particularly comfortable. Most likely the hotel will not have a swimming pool and gym, but a shower and toilet in the room is required.

In Bulgaria, as well as in the Crimea, and the Krasnodar Territory, you can get there by train. The cost of a one-way compartment ticket is about 130 euros.

Where to relax is cheaper

If we compare prices for accommodation, then hotels on the Black Sea coast of Turkey and Bulgaria are several times cheaper than those in the Crimea and Krasnodar Territory. The cost of plane tickets is also in favor of Bulgaria and Turkey. You can save money on the road only by traveling by train. But in this case, you will have to buy the cheapest reserved seat tickets.

Holidays in Bulgaria are made more expensive by the visa regime. For Russians, obtaining an entry stamp is required. A visa is issued at the embassy, its price is about 40 euros. But even this circumstance will not prevent a family with a child from having a rest in Bulgaria on a budgetary enough basis. The cafes are cheap there, and so are the amusement parks. The main thing is not to choose popular resorts such as Sunny Beach or Golden Sands, but to stay in one of the small seaside towns - Obzor, Byala, etc.
