A lure is a bait for fishing. It is usually used for spinning fishing. Artificial bait has a special hole for attaching to a fishing line or leash. For reliable fixation of the spoon, special knots are used. Despite the fact that there is a huge number of the most diverse nodes, in practice, as a rule, only a few are used - the most reliable and proven ones.

Instructions

Step 1

Double clinch knot

This unit can be used to attach lures, hooks and swivels. The reliability of the knot is due to the fact that the end of the line is clamped between the loops. Even with strong jerks, the knot does not stretch and does not pinch the tackle.

Step 2

Pass the line through the lure carabiner ring. Insert the free end into the hole in the carabiner again so that a loop forms. Align the resulting loops and hold them firmly between your thumb and forefinger.

Step 3

Take the free end and wrap it around the line five to six times. Guide the end of the line through the loop that you hold with your fingers.

Step 4

Pull the loose piece through the loop again. Pull the tackle to secure the knot.

Step 5

Dampen the knot with water. Pull on the main line and the free end at the same time, tightening the knot. If necessary, cut off excess length, leaving 3-4 mm.

Step 6

"Gripping" knot

This knot is especially popular with fly-fishing enthusiasts. As a rule, it is used to attach flies to a leash. However, it can just as well be used to tie a spoon to a fishing line. It practically does not reduce the strength of the tackle.

Step 7

Pass the free end of the line through the hole. Wrap the carabiner ring three or four times and insert the end between the ring and the resulting turns.

Step 8

Pull the remaining end of the line and its main part in opposite directions at the same time, tightening the knot. Cut to leave 2-3 mm.

Step 9

Knot "two loops"

Pass the end of the line twice into the ring of the lure carabiner. Make two to three loops around the body. Pass the free end of the line from the side of the spoon through the resulting turns. Tighten the knot carefully, cut off the excess.
