Basilica of St. Stephen

St. Stephen's Basilica is the largest cathedral in Budapest, located on St. Stephen's Square. The construction of the cathedral began in 1851 and lasted more than half a century. In 1905, the cathedral was consecrated, and 30 years later the cathedral was awarded the title of basilica. The basilica was built in the neoclassical style, with bell towers on each side of the central façade. It is stored in one of them, weighing about 9 tons.

The basilica is active and looks very beautiful inside. In the center of the cathedral, the main attraction is the altar, on the left side of which the relics of St. Stephen are kept. The walls and columns of the cathedral are made of several types of rare marble, and the windows are decorated with elaborate stained-glass windows with images of saints. The cathedral has an observation deck that offers a wonderful view of the city.

Little Princess

"Little Princess" is a wonderful sculpture of a little girl dressed in a jester's carnival costume. Being in Budapest and not seeing the sculpture of the "Little Princess" is like being in Paris and not seeing it. There is a legend that the "Little Princess" brings good luck - if you rub her leg and make a wish, it will certainly come true. The sculpture of a little girl was installed in 1989 and brought fame to its author. Copies have been installed in many cities around the world, and in Hungary itself, the "Little Princess" has been installed in another city. Behind the sculpture there is an excellent view of the Royal Palace.

Hungarian Parliament Building

The Hungarian Parliament Building is considered one of the most beautiful government buildings in the world. The Parliament is located on the Danube embankment, between the Margaret Bridge and the Chain Bridge. The building was built for 19 years, from 1885 to 1904, its length is 265 meters, and the height of the dome is 96 meters. The architectural style of the Parliament building is neo-gothic. The external facade is decorated with sculptures of Hungarian kings, princes, generals and famous warriors. Inside, the building is also majestic and very beautiful. Do not limit yourself only to an external examination, they spend every day in 8 languages, but at a strictly allotted time.

Szechenyi Baths

Széchenyi Baths - located on the territory. This is a unique bathing complex that receives water from wells located at a depth of about 1200 meters. The rich mineral composition of the water makes it possible to use it both for medicinal purposes and for cosmetic purposes. On the territory of the baths there are swimming pools - in the open air with heated water and in the building. Also here you will find many baths and saunas, you can visit the gym, beauty parlor, massage parlor. After leaving the Széchenyi Baths, you can stroll through the park and have a snack. The baths are open to the public all year round.
