Instructions

Step 1

Start by filling out the questionnaire. It can be in German or Russian, but in this case your name, surname and place of birth must be written in Latin letters, just like in your passport. You can fill it out on a computer or by hand in block letters, after printing out the forms. To do this, follow the link -https://www.moskau.diplo.de/Vertretung/moskau/ru/01/Visumbestimmungen/Antragsformulare/_Antragsformulare_ru.html. When the questionnaire is ready, sign it and stick one photo on it.

Step 2

If you are traveling by invitation, you need to attach to the documents the original and a copy of the invitation, which must be drawn up at the Office of Foreigners at the place of residence of the inviter, and contain guarantees that this person undertakes obligations in accordance with §§ 66-68 of the Law on the stay of foreigners in the territory of the Federal Republic of Germany.

Step 3

In the case of hotel reservations, please attach a booking confirmation (fax or printout from the website) stamped with the hotel and signed by an authorized person.

Step 4

The certificate from the place of work must be on the letterhead of the organization, contain all the details of the company, information about your position, monthly salary, work experience and a phrase about the leave provided.

Step 5

Pensioners and non-working citizens need to submit a copy of the pension certificate and confirmation of the availability of funds (bank statement, etc.) or a sponsorship letter, a certificate from the place of work of a relative who finances the trip and a photocopy of his internal passport.

Step 6

Pupils and students must attach a certificate from the educational institution, a copy of the student card and permission to be absent from class if the trip is scheduled for school time.

Step 7

You can confirm that you have funds with a recent bank statement or credit card account.

Step 8

Also, you will need to provide a guarantee that you will definitely return to your homeland. A certificate from the place of work, marriage certificates, birth certificates of children, or documents confirming ownership of movable or immovable property can serve as confirmation. The more documents you submit, the more likely you will be issued a visa.

Step 9

For children, you will need to fill out a separate form, sign it and attach the original and a copy of the birth certificate. If the child is not traveling with both parents, you will need a notarized power of attorney (original, copy) from the second parent (s), valid throughout the European Union. The power of attorney must be translated into German. It is necessary to indicate the name and surname of the authorized person. If the person accompanying the child submits documents for a visa separately, it will be necessary to attach photocopies of the spread of his passport and the page with the visa. If one of the parents is absent, be sure to submit a document from the competent authorities.
