Step 1
Get to Schiphol by train. The railway station is located in the immediate vicinity of the airport. It is easy to get to Schiphol from other European countries. Trains from Belgium and Germany stop at the train station. Tickets can be purchased on the NS Hispeed and Thalys websites. For domestic flights, they can be purchased from NS Dutch Railways' yellow vending machines. The average travel time to the airport is 15 minutes from Amsterdam, 30 minutes from Utrecht and The Hague, 40 minutes from Haarlem, 1 hour from Rotterdam and 2 hours 9 minutes from Enschede. If you need to travel late to the airport, take the overnight train. It runs every hour from Utrecht to Rotterdam via Schiphol Airport. Then it goes in the opposite direction.
Step 2
Benefit from bus delivery. There are many direct buses to Schiphol from all over the country every day. To pay for travel, you can use a single transport card OV. You can also buy a separate ticket. All buses stop at Schiphol Plaza, opposite the arrivals and departures halls.

Go by hotel buses. Several hotels in Schiphol and Amsterdam provide a shuttle bus service. Hotel shuttle tickets can be purchased at the hotel reception. Airport buses leave from early morning until midnight every 20-30 minutes from Schiphol hotels and every 10 minutes from Amsterdam.
