Instructions

Step 1

To obtain a visa, you must submit the required documents to the Embassy of the French Republic in Russia in person or through your representative (if you draw up documents through a travel agency).

Step 2

First of all, you must have a valid passport, which contains blank sheets. It is necessary to make a copy of all sheets of the passport, even blank ones. Both the passport itself and its copy are provided. If you are traveling with minor children who have a separate passport, it must also be copied.

Step 3

For working citizens, it is necessary to obtain a certificate from the place of work indicating the position and salary. The certificate must be made on the letterhead of the organization with the indication of contacts - address and phone number and a seal.

Step 4

For non-working citizens, it is necessary to provide a sponsorship letter from the next of kin who pay for the trip and finance all travel expenses. A sponsorship letter is written in free form, a certificate from the sponsor's place of work is attached to it, indicating the salary level of at least 18 thousand rubles.

Step 5

Let's say a family of three travels to France: a husband, a wife and a minor child. Only the husband can show the official income. In this case, the sponsorship letter is written separately for both the wife and the child. And the officially indicated income of the spouse in this case cannot be less than 54 thousand rubles.

Step 6

Attach photographs for a visa to the documents. They should be colored, on matte paper in size 3, 5 * 4, 5 in the amount of two pieces.

Step 7

For minor children, you must provide a passport (if issued separately), a copy of it, a copy of a birth certificate, a certificate from the place of study (school, college), a sponsorship letter.

Step 8

If only one of the parents travels abroad with a minor child, it is necessary to obtain permission from a notary to take the child out of the Russian Federation. Keep in mind that the French Embassy in some cases may require an export permit even if the child is traveling with two parents. In this case, you need to issue two permits from a notary: the husband allows his wife to take the child out, the wife allows her husband to take the child out.

Step 9

On the embassy's website, you can download a questionnaire for each family member traveling with you and fill it out before submitting the documents. You can fill out the form directly at the embassy (if you apply for a visa yourself).
