In the Moscow metro, the Paveletskaya metro station plays a special role, because one of the largest railway stations in Moscow is located nearby. But not every passenger knows how to quickly switch from the Circle Line to the radial line and vice versa.

Paveletskaya metro station is located near the Paveletsky railway station in Moscow. In fact, these are two different stations. One is located on the Circle Line, and the second on Zamoskvoretskaya, which is radial.

Many passengers wishing to get to the Paveletsky railway station do not know which of these two stations to use to get out of the metro as close as possible to their destination. In fact, everything is quite simple here. One of the exits from the radial metro station is located right in the building of the Paveletsky railway station.

In addition to this, many passengers make a transfer at Paveletskaya from the Circle Line to Zamoskvoretskaya. At the same time, they use the official passage located in the center of the hall, and to which all signs placed at the station are directed. The disadvantage of this transition lies in the fact that it itself is very long, and at both ends it is also equipped with stairs. It is not very convenient to use it if you have luggage.

However, there is another option that will help you quickly and without the slightest effort on the passenger side to move from the Circle line to the radial one. It consists in the fact that you need to use the escalators located in the area of the head of the train moving clockwise towards the Dobryninskaya metro station, and in the area of the tail of the train going counterclockwise towards the Taganskaya station. This escalator itself is designed to enter the city, as indicated by the signs. But the whole trick lies in the fact that, having climbed this escalator and walked a few meters, the passenger, without leaving the turnstile zone, finds himself at another escalator leading down to the platform of the radial station.

Using this method, a metro passenger will be able to switch from the Koltsevaya to the radial in a shorter time and with a minimum of physical effort.

This method can also be applied in the opposite direction, to move from the radial station to the Koltsevaya station. In detail it looks like this. At the Paveletskaya station, the radial line has escalators at both ends of the platform. One of them, in the southern part of the platform, leads to the building of the Paveletsky railway station, and the second, in the northern side of the platform, is the one already mentioned. For passengers arriving at Paveletskaya from the city center, from Novokuznetskaya station, it will be located in the area of the train tail, and for passengers arriving from Avtozavodskaya, in the area of the train head. Climbing on this escalator and walking a few meters without leaving the turnstile zone, a person finds himself at the escalator leading down to the platform of the Paveletskaya Circle Line.
