Law Palace, located near the town of Apeldoorn in the Netherlands, was built in 1685 with money from the English king William III. Lo has been the seat of the royal family for a very long time.

From the moment of construction until 1975, Law Palace was a favorite summer residence, as well as a hunting ground for kings and members of the Orange-Nassau royal family. And since 1984, the palace has housed a museum dedicated to the history of the dynasty of the kings of Holland.

Not so long ago, extensive restoration work was carried out in the palace, during which many elements of the interior and exterior decoration of the palace building, which belong to the earlier period of its construction, were discovered, for example, variegated patterned silk and paneling. Those elements that could not be restored were recreated according to the written descriptions of the original appearance of the castle.

Today, this palace has become an excellent place to preserve a collection of items of historical value: ceramics, glass and silverware, furniture, and paintings.

Some of the castle's most valuable rooms are: the study, which was decorated with damask and silk (built in 1690), the bedroom of King William III, finally completed in 1713, and the dining room decorated with delightful tapestries (1686).

The castle stable houses a collection of royal carriages and vintage cars, including an old 1925 Bentley.

One of the main assets of the palace is a beautiful park laid out around it. It was rebuilt during the restoration of Law Castle according to the description of its appearance at the time of its foundation. The structure of the park resembles Versailles, it is conditionally divided into four separate sections: the Lower Garden, the Upper Garden, the King's Garden and the Queen's Garden. The park perfectly combines ponds and fountains, statues and paths covered by the shade of trees, bright flowers and exotic plants.
