Taking pictures in the cave is allowed, although for this you need to purchase an additional ticket for a symbolic amount

Colonnade - located in Staraya Gagra, not far from the park. To get to the city beach, you have to walk past it. The Gagra colonnade, 60 meters long, is a symbol of the whole of Abkhazia. Souvenirs and postcards are sold nearby, and it consists of 4 columns and is a popular place among the townspeople.

Anakopia Fortress is a landmark that has survived quite well, considering that it was built in the 7th century and served as a defense. Near the fortress there is a chapel and a well in which the water never runs out, although it was made artificially. To get to this place you will have to climb the mountain, the journey takes half an hour. As a reward, you will receive an excellent panoramic view of New Athos.

Temple of Saint Simon the Canaanite. The monks were engaged in the restoration of the temple back in 1882, and when it was restored, it immediately became operational. Couples who are overcoming the difficulties of family relationships, looking for love, happiness and prosperity, visit the temple, because the Apostle Simon was the patron saint of marriage. Some records in Greek are still preserved in the temple and you can see them during excursions.
