Every working person, regardless of the type of contract concluded with him, is entitled to leave of at least 28 calendar days. For minors, this figure is 31 days, disabled people - 30 days, and teachers, doctors and some other categories rest from 42 to 56 calendar days.

Two weeks before the start of the new year, the administration is obliged to familiarize employees with the vacation schedule in writing.

The Russian Federation has ratified the convention of the International Labor Organization on annual leave, which allows the division of leave into parts, but recommends limiting the breakdown into two periods (with the exception of emergencies) so that workers can fully rest. Therefore, most employers prefer to adhere to this rule. Nevertheless, if your employer agrees, then you can divide the vacation at least one day, the main thing is that one part of the vacation lasts at least 14 days.
