According to the law of the Russian Federation, a child traveling abroad must have a European passport. The issuance of such a passport is possible from the very birth. Instructions
Step 1
In order to issue a passport for your child, parents need to contact the department of the Migration Service of the Russian Federation at the place of registration. This must be done at least three weeks before the expected departure. And it is better to take care of this much earlier, so that later there will be no problems before the trip itself.
Step 2
At the Migration Service of the Russian Federation, you should fill out an application for the issuance of a passport for your child. Make your application neatly, according to the sample and in capital letters. This application must be accompanied by 2 photographs of the child of the established sample (if he is already 6 years old), a birth certificate and a copy of it, a certificate of citizenship, copies and the original of the parent's or guardian's passport, a receipt of the state fee, which must be paid in advance at the bank.
Step 3
If you fill in everything correctly, and bring all the required documents at once, then the passport can be picked up in 2-2, 5 weeks. The child himself does not have to be present at the procedure for obtaining a passport.
Step 4
If your child travels abroad with you, then you do not need to make a separate passport for him. But it is imperative to write it down in parental passports. To do this, you need to bring to the Migration Service of the Russian Federation an application for registering a child in your passport, a receipt for 50 rubles on payment of the state duty, a copy of the child's citizenship certificate, and his photograph (if he is over 6 years old). Within a week, your child will be added to your passport.
Step 5
If the child leaves abroad without parents, then make sure that the accompanying person has written parental consent for the child to leave the country, which is certified by a notary. Otherwise, the child will not be allowed beyond passport control. If the child is traveling with his mother, then the consent of the father will be required to take the child out of his home country, and vice versa.
Step 6
If a child flies abroad alone, then it is advisable for parents to take care of not only a passport, but also a health insurance policy. Anything can happen on a trip. Therefore, explain to the child and his companions where to go in case of a difficult situation. Write your child a list of phone numbers to call if something happens. Sign his suitcases and valuables in Latin letters, because children tend to get lost or lose things.

If you give your child a large amount of money for a trip (more than $ 3,000), then you need to take a special certificate from the bank about permission to export such an amount from the territory of the Russian Federation.
