Step 1

Step 3

Application form for a Schengen visa. Completed in either Spanish or English. Upon completion of filling out the questionnaire, you must sign, the signatures in the passport and on the questionnaire must be identical. Glue one color photo with a light background to the questionnaire. Photo size 35x45 mm. Sign another photo (passport number on the back of the picture) and attach it to the package of documents.

Step 4

Health insurance policy that is valid in all Schengen countries. The allowed amount of insurance coverage is at least 30 thousand euros. The policy must be valid for your entire trip.

Step 5

Confirmation of income in Russia. A certificate of employment is provided on the company letterhead, certified by the seal. The certificate must indicate: your position, salary, work experience and contact information of the company. Make sure to write in the certificate that you are granted leave for the entire duration of the trip, during which the job is retained for you. If you are an individual entrepreneur, then you need to show a copy of the individual entrepreneur certificate and tax return. For those who work for individual entrepreneurs, these documents must also be shown.

Step 6

For people who do not have sufficient permanent income, to visit the Schengen countries, you must show a letter from the next of kin stating that he agrees to sponsor your entire trip. Also attach documents that would prove your relationship. The sponsor needs to show a job certificate and an account statement.

Step 7

Students and schoolchildren attach copies of certificates from educational institutions. You don't have to do this during the holidays. Pensioners must attach a copy of their pension certificate.

Step 8

A bank statement that must have sufficient funds to complete the trip. Adequate funds are considered from 57 to 62 euros per day per person, but it is better to count with some margin. ATM checks and traveler's checks are not proof of financial soundness.

Step 9

Tickets to the country. It is necessary to attach printouts from air ticket booking sites, copies of tickets for ferries, ships, trains or buses.

Step 10

Accommodation in Spain. All Spanish visa applicants must show proof of accommodation. This can be a fax or printout from the booking system, or an invitation from a private person. If you bought a tour, please attach an invitation from the travel organization. Those who own real estate in Spain need to show documents confirming their ownership.
