There are several museums on its territory, as well as the Assumption Cathedral, built in the 17th century in the Moscow Baroque style. The majestic structure is decorated with openwork carvings of white stone - a phenomenon unique in its kind for temples of this type. The Archangel Cathedral of the 15th century is a monument of the early Moscow style. Museums on the territory of the Kremlin contain many exhibits, including ethnographic materials, works of ancient Russian art and crafts, as well as ancient finds from the pre-Mongol period. Close to the Kremlin is Cathedral Square, which offers a beautiful view of the Kremlin, the Assumption Cathedral and its bell tower in the classical style, which is also a wonderful piece of architecture. A well-groomed park is located on the territory of the square. There are several monasteries in Ryazan that are worth visiting: Vyshensky, Solotochinsky, St. John the Theologian. Of interest are the city township churches, erected in the 17th century: Duhovskaya and Epiphany. The great Russian poet Sergei Yesenin was born and raised in the village of Konstantinovo, Ryazan province, so a monument to him was erected in the city on the eightieth anniversary of his birth, in 1975. This bronze sculpture stands on the banks of the Trubezh, in a place from which a view of the open spaces and open spaces opens up, about which the poet wrote with such love. Yesenin is depicted as enthusiastically reading his works. Another interesting attraction of the city is the Museum of Military Automotive Equipment. On its territory, about 150 exhibits are exhibited - units of military equipment, documents, uniforms and household items of that time are also presented.
