In nature, as all experienced tourists know, the appetite is incredibly played out. And there it is no longer so important what to eat, the main thing is that there is food. Therefore, I will tell you how to quickly and with a hiking entourage to cook a simple dinner on the fire from what was taken from home in advance. You can wait for the fish soup for a long time until the fish is caught, but you may want to eat after an hour of being in nature.

It is necessary

Firewood, salt, matches, a tripod, a pot with a lid, water, beef or pork stew, potatoes, pasta, onions, carrots, herbs, spices, whatever you can find, a knife, a cutting board or whatever replaces it, a ladle

Instructions

Step 1

Light a fire, place a metal tripod over it and hang a pot of water over the fire. It is better to cover the pot with a lid so that the water heats up faster. There should be about 2/3 of the water in the pot. While the water is heating up, peel the potatoes, onions, open the pasta and stew. Chop potatoes, carrots and available herbs (parsley, dill). But it is better to just peel the onion and leave it that way for now. For a five liter pot, you may need 7-8 medium potatoes, and about two glasses of pasta.

Step 2

When the water boils, we drop the chopped potatoes and carrots into it, wait until it boils and support the fire so that the fire does not go down. Then we drop the pasta, mix everything with a ladle. When the water boils again, we throw a whole onion and stew into the pot. It is better to knead the stew with a knife beforehand. It is better not to remove the fat from the stew, this will make your dinner rich and satisfying. When the water boils again, you can move the pot slightly relative to the fire so that the broth does not boil and salt to taste, you can add a universal seasoning, pepper.

Step 3

We stir our dinner and watch - when the pasta swells and the potatoes become crumbly - we throw off the greens. And we languish for a few more minutes. Do not forget to mix everything periodically. While the soup is languishing, you can cut the bread and prepare the dishes from which you will eat. When the soup is ready, we take the tripod from the fire together with the pot to the place where you plan to eat.
