Instructions

Step 1

Obtaining a visa at such a center is quite simple, although in some of them the procedure may be more difficult than in others. Before you start collecting documents, check if there is a visa center at the consulate of the country you are going to travel to. You can find out on the website of the consulate itself or through a search engine. In the latter case, be careful - many commercial firms that help with the registration of travel documents create websites that look like those of a visa application center.

Step 2

Once you have got to the site you need, find the "Required Documents" section (or with another similar name). The list of documents required to obtain a visa may differ from country to country. For example, if in the Greek visa center only a certificate from the place of work and / or an account statement is required from you in order to confirm your financial solvency, then in the British visa center, a certificate of the presence of any movable or immovable property (apartment, car, etc.) etc.).

Step 3

Before you go to the visa center or even start collecting documents, check if you need a preliminary appointment to submit your documents. For example, to submit documents at the UK Visa Application Center, you must register through the website by filling out an online application. In others, such as Czech or Dutch, no prior registration is required.

Step 4

Almost all visa centers require a signed permission to process personal data to be attached to the list of documents. It can be downloaded from the website or received directly when submitting documents.

Step 5

Before you go to the visa center with the already collected package of documents, specify its address and opening hours. Keep in mind that many centers finish accepting documents early enough (for example, Greek only works on weekdays, until 13:00).

Step 6

After submitting the documents, you can track the status of your passport by the case number that is issued to you, and your surname or date of birth, directly on the website of the visa center. Keep in mind that here you can only clarify information about where your passport is now; whether your application was successful or unsuccessful - you will find out only when you receive your passport.

Step 7

When information appears in the status of your passport that the document is ready to be handed over, you need to come to the visa center again and pick it up. Check the hours of issue of documents - they may differ from the hours of reception.
