Step 1

Passport, its validity must be at least 90 days from the moment your trip ends. To obtain a visa, you need to have at least two blank pages in it. It is necessary to make a photocopy from the first page of the passport.

Step 2

Visa application form completed in English or Slovenian. Upon completion of filling, the form must be signed in the indicated place. If you do not speak either Slovenian or English, then you can fill out in Russian, but only using Latin letters. You can fill in both by hand and on a computer. Attach one color photograph to the application form on a light uniform background, 35 x 45 mm in size, without frames and corners.

Help from work, made on letterhead. The certificate must indicate the position you hold, your salary and work experience in the company.

Bank statement or credit card statement certified by the bank's stamp. The goal is to confirm that you have sufficient funds to travel, so make sure that your discharge is at least € 50 per day of stay for an adult and € 25 per day per child.

Students must provide a certificate of study and a sponsorship letter from those funding their trip. It is also necessary to attach a job certificate and a bank statement from the sponsor to confirm that he has sufficient funds. Pensioners should provide a copy of their pension certificate. Other documents confirming your intention to return to Russia. As such documents, Slovenia accepts return tickets from the country, an extract from the Unified State Register of Real Estate Ownership and various other certificates and certificates confirming the presence of property in Russia.

Health insurance policy and its photocopy. The policy must be valid for the entire period of stay in the Schengen countries, and the amount of its coverage must be at least 30 thousand euros.

Confirmation of the purpose of the visit, which can be hotel bookings along the entire route or a voucher from a travel company (only originals are accepted). Slovenia does not accept confirmation of reservations from systems such as booking.com. If you have friends or relatives in Slovenia, you can ask them to send a letter of guarantee (the equivalent of an invitation). It must be certified by the local administration. Both the original and the fax of the letter of guarantee are accepted.

Step 10

The visa fee is paid directly upon submission of documents. It is 35 euros for a regular visa and 70 euros for an urgent one. If you apply through a visa fee, then an additional 25 euros will be charged for his services. Fees are paid in rubles at the current exchange rate.
