The climate of Cuba allows you to relax on the island almost all year round. In summer, the temperature varies between 30-35C, but the heat is easily tolerated due to the sea breeze. The water temperature rarely drops below 24C.

In Cuba, you can enjoy not only beach holidays and swimming, but also diving, during which you can marvel at the abundance of underwater beauty. Surfing is very popular on the seaside, but you will have to bring equipment for it with you. Cuba offers its guests a wide range of outdoor activities: fishing and spearfishing, catamaran and yacht trips, jeep safaris in the jungle, excursions to exotic corners of the country - the list is endless.

The capital of Cuba is Havana. It is located on the Gulf Coast, in the northwestern part of the island. Old Havana is a striking example of the colonial period, where you can see buildings of the 16th-18th centuries, including squares, churches and Baroque houses. Since Havana is located around a large bay, several defensive fortresses were erected here at one time, which must be visited.

The main resort of Cuba is Varadero. It is 140 kilometers away from Havana. Varadero is a stretch of beaches with fine white sand, contrasting with the azure blue of the ocean.

Another beautiful place that attracts tourists is the Holguin province. It is believed that Christopher Columbus landed here in 1492. There is also an estate that belonged to the family of Fidel Castro.

Playa Esmeralda, an emerald beach, is 56 kilometers from Holguin. Here you can go fishing, windsurfing or deep diving. During the rainy season, Playa Esmeralda is the driest corner in Cuba.

Interesting are two small islands - Cayo Coco and Cayo Guillermo. The first is a nature reserve and is connected with Cuba by a complex engineering structure. And Cayo Guillermo is uninhabited and covered with palm groves and mangroves. The island is filled with the chirping of hundreds of different birds, and the beaches are considered the best in the entire Cuban archipelago.

Having visited Cuba at least once, everyone will want to come back here again in order to find themselves in paradise again, disconnected from the problems and worries of everyday life.
