In 2011, sharks appeared in Russia near Primorye. A number of attacks on a person were recorded at the end of the summer. After that, all forces were thrown to catch and neutralize the predator. As a result, she was found. Now the regional authorities are concerned about how to prevent those events again and again, and have developed a whole plan of measures to protect against sharks.

Nobody expected that this could happen in Primorye. Vacationers bravely swam when suddenly a predator attacked one of them. The young man was seriously injured. One of the security measures taken this year was the placement of special nets that will not let sharks get closer to the shore.

The structure is a structure in the shape of the letter "P", which can block 100-200 meters of the sea area. Accordingly, in order to block the entire bay, several such hydraulic structures will be needed at once. Their width is 50 meters. Installing such a structure is not a cheap pleasure and will cost 100,000-150,000 rubles. True, her shelf life is quite long - it will last for several years.

At the moment, regular patrols are carried out on the water in order to identify sharks in dangerous proximity to the coastline. Also, at the suggestion of the authorities, it was decided to organize special observation posts on land to monitor the state of the sea. They will be located on a hill in the immediate vicinity of the beach.

As a preventive measure, signs are placed on the beaches that warn of a possible attack by sea predators.

But abroad, in addition to such networks, they also use additional measures to protect vacationers on sea beaches. For example, the Italians have developed special devices that are shields. The essence of their work is that they have electromagnetic radiation. Having caught such waves, sharks will feel the danger and will not dare to come closer to the shore. The advantage of such screens is that this design is an order of magnitude smaller than the networks, does not take up so much space and does not limit the entrance to the bay.

In Israel, they use special systems for observing marine animals. They work in a complex - from the air and from the water. Aerial surveillance is carried out by special services, which study the situation at sea from helicopters. On the water side, special powerful radars are involved, which pick up the vibrations produced by the sharks and transmit information to the sensors. Then the shark is either driven away or destroyed.
