Cyprus has something to lure tourists of completely different categories: young, elderly, history buffs, diving, alpine skiing, and simply connoisseurs of all that is beautiful.

Everything is really beautiful in Cyprus: nature, weather, and cleanliness. The beaches and sea water are recognized as some of the cleanest in Europe. Many beaches in Cyprus are awarded the Blue Flag every year, indicating the quality of the beaches by a wide range of criteria.

In total, more than 50 beaches of the island state are waiting for their guests.

  • Coral Bay is a purely sandy beach, loved by families with children precisely because of the quality of the sand,
  • not too crowded Ayia Thekla beach with white sand,
  • bustling, crowded white sand Nissi beach.

On this island, washed on all sides by the Mediterranean Sea, there is practically no winter. Of course, there is it according to the calendar, but there is so little of it and one can even consider that it is almost always summer. Summer heat is very easily tolerated due to sufficient humidity and sea winds blowing over tourists who have arrived on the island.

Tourism in Cyprus is different:

  • you can go downhill skiing in the Troodos resort on the Mount of the Gods Olympus,
  • go diving in Larnaca, Limassol or Paphos, both for a beginner diver and a professional,
  • visit historical architectural monuments,
  • walk through fabulously beautiful natural places,
  • or you can just have fun, take a break from everyday life and from everyday life.

Cyprus resorts for every taste

  • For those who prefer a fun, active holiday, Ayia Napa is suitable for lovers of nightlife.
  • For family holidays, the resorts of Larnaca and Protaras are suitable.
  • For a romantic getaway - the Polis resort.
  • Wealthy tourists will not remain indifferent from the rest in Paphos.
  • Those looking for peace in a paradise will find it in Pissouri.
  • Those who want to hear Russian speech on their trip will be comfortable in Limassol, because it is there that most Russian-speaking Greeks live.

Of the natural monuments, the tall cape, on which the lighthouse is located, stands out. You can also see the sea caves near Paphos, or you can walk along the path of Aphrodite and even swim in the bath of the same name on the Akamas peninsula, which in turn is a nature reserve (national park) and protected by UNESCO. In the Troodos mountains, you can admire the waterfalls, noisily cascading down, and flocks of flamingos on the salt lakes of Limassol and Larnaca. High in the mountains, there is another national park near Mount Olympus, where you can see breathtaking mountain landscapes.

Of the man-made sights, three historical sites are included in the UNESCO heritage list, and another 11 sites are waiting in the wings. The first to be listed was the ancient city of Paphos, located in the eponymous region of Cyprus. Several famous names are associated with this city: Aphrodite, Apostle Paul, Cicero. The second attraction on the list was 9 churches and a monastery with paintings in the Troodos mountains. The ancient settlement of the Neolithic period called Choirokitia has also become a heritage site. All objects included in the list are of cultural and historical value.

Every tourist who comes to Cyprus will find a vacation to their liking. Therefore, it is worth going on vacation to Cyprus: you will hardly be able to regret it.
