A new transport and tourist service for Moscow was created with the participation of the Moscow Department of Transport and the Committee for Tourism and Hotel Management. Special double-decker buses MAN Wagon Union with a sliding roof were delivered to Moscow, they are exactly the same as in other European capitals. During the cold season, the Moscow office of City Sightseen will use closed insulated buses.

The routes for the excursion buses have already been agreed with the Moscow administration, but so far there will be one route with a length of 10 kilometers within the Garden Ring, five double-decker will operate on it. In August, the buses ran in test mode, and full-scale work will begin in September. If you want to ride a double-decker bus, you need to get to Bolotnaya Square, this is where the starting point of the route is.

The movement interval of doubledeckers is 20 minutes. The fare for adults is 600 rubles, children and pensioners will be able to ride for 400. The cheapest trip will cost students, for them the ticket costs only 300 rubles.

It should be noted that the purchased ticket is valid all day. After purchasing it, you can get off and on the City Sightseen sightseeing buses an unlimited number of times during the day. This is very convenient, since it becomes possible to get off at any stop, without rushing to inspect the sights available in this place, and then take the next bus and continue the excursion program. Until the end of 2012, five buses will operate on the routes, then their number will increase.

All buses are equipped with an audio system that allows you to listen to the excursion program in eight languages while driving and at stops. This will give an opportunity to listen to the story of the guide not only for Russians, but also for residents of other countries who have decided to get acquainted with the sights of Moscow.
